9th January - 7th April (12 weeks)
Bali is a land that seems to have a magnet at its very heart. It is a feeling that is difficult to understand unless experienced, but once visited you will surely be compelled to come back and you may even want to stay forever, such is its pull. Maybe it’s Bali’s beauty, maybe the friendly people, or maybe even the influence from spirits that certainly abide on this “Island of the Gods”. We’ll be spending 4 glorious weeks in the haven of hipsters, wave hunters, and health nuts, Canggu.
Chiang Mai, Thailand
Chiang Mai is a perfect mix of traditional thai culture, modern amenities, mouth watering food and drink, inspiring creative scene, great nightlife and beautiful nature in the surrounding area. Spend your days working away in cafes sipping on delicious cappucinos. Spend your weekends scootering up through the mountains to Pai, walking with elephants, white water rafting, temple hopping or any of the other many activities in the area. Spend the evenings wandering through night markets that sell what is indisputably the best street food on the planet. And spend your nights dancing the night away in one of the bars hosting live music, which seems to be all of them!
Where better to spend the final month than relaxing on the tranquil island of Koh Lanta. For many years this tropical paradise has remained known and visited by only the most languid travellers. Although gaining in popularity, it still remains the stereotypical hippie haven where life rolls along at a snail’s pace. Expect most evenings to be spent watching the sunset on Long Beach, most mornings practicing your downward dog and time in-between scuba diving, hiking, and generally gallivanting around this monument to a less commercialised Southern Thailand.
