Courses through ASU Universal Learner are regionally accredited as they are Arizona State University courses. They are exactly the same from a credit perspective as courses taken at Arizona State University. This means that they are regionally accredited and therefore should be accepted at every university in the US that accepts transfer credit.
If you're currently enrolled at a university, you should check with your academic advisor or registrars office to confirm that courses you take will be accepted as credit.
Though these courses are asynchronous, they are not entirely self-paced. Most courses offered have fixed start and end dates. This means that they're not perfect for students that want to travel while earning college credit through these courses. They're still much better than most online classes delivered by universities, you will just need to take a little extra care with time management.
